Presenter Biography
Roger Pearce is Vice
President of Lean Deployment for LeanCor LLC.
Headquartered in Florence, Kentucky, LeanCor
delivers Third Party Logistics and Supply Chain
Management services to organizations embracing
Lean and Six Sigma principles.
As Director of Lean
Deployment, Roger is responsible for the
recommendation and implementation of Lean
Fulfillment Stream strategies into LeanCor’s
network of customers. His primary duties include
the management of LeanCor’s Training & Education
and Consulting teams.
Roger has a strong background
of lean supply chain operational experience
working with a wide variety of manufacturers and
service providers from the automotive to the
retail industry. He has held management and
director level positions in the following areas:
Supply Chain, Logistics Network Engineering,
Transportation and Route Management, Material
Handling (crossdocks, sequencing centers, and
service parts operations), Fleet & Yard
Management. He has also worked extensively in
procurement and supplier management.
His diverse experience and
industry knowledge make him a model candidate
for consulting and training. Roger has had the
opportunity to lead lean six-sigma projects at
automotive plants, provide total logistics cost
network analysis, implement supplier performance
and development programs, perform returnable
packaging studies, facilitate kaizen events,
facilitate public and private training, manage
facility start-ups, offer overall lean
assessments, as well as perform process audits
and engineering. Some notable companies Roger
has worked with include Toyota, GMC, Suzuki,
Yamaha, Procter and Gamble, Kimberly Clark,
JCPenney, Polaris, BRP, Kubota Manufacturing of
America, Pratt Corporation, BIC, and Standard
Furniture Manufacturing Company. |
